Hi there,

I'm Hayley. I'm a geography graduate living Sheffield, UK.

By day I working in marketing, as a Storycatcher for a creative agency, and in my spare time I like to read, write, run, and roll out my yoga mat...

The ChefBeHere blog is a hobby of mine, which started out a few years ago during my student days. Often, in my final (stressful!) year of uni, meal times were the best parts of the day. I had fun in the kitchen trying out meat-free recipes and, with some encouragement from friends, began writing recipes up as a distraction from dissertation.  And so, in late 2014, the ChefBeHere blog was born.

Today, the ChefBeHere blog records my adventures with all kinds of pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan recipes, and the occasional attempt at home baking. Along with a recipe, in each post I aim generally to inspire my audience into the kitchen, and I share some thoughts, recommendations and ramblings, too.
